As the seasons turn with certainty, Cape Town reveals a rich tapestry of occasions that implore us to make the most of the lingering summer warmth, while easing into the mellow charm of autumn’s embrace.

Upcoming events to look forward to…

  • Lumenocity – A large scale public light art festival that transforms the Company’s Garden into an immersive cultural experience. Over several evenings, South African light artists and digital creatives present site specific installations, and large format projection mapping, that respond directly to the history, architecture, and natural landscape of the Gardens. From the 9th until the 12th of April, 2026 at the Company’s Garden.
  • Two Oceans Marathon – The Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon on the 11th & 12th of April, 2026, is one of the major sporting events of the year in Cape Town. Athletes traverse the majestic landscape of Cape Town’s coastal roads. It’s a chance to chase a personal best or cheer from the sidelines, while soaking up views and the spirit that make this event a highlight on the running calendar. For those that have the stamina, we wish you the best of luck! If you’re supporting from the sidelines, have fun and revel in the most scenic running race in the world.
  • World Travel Market (WTM) Africa – A unique platform for global travel brands to connect, at the CTICC from the 13th until the 15th of April, 2026. The exhibition provides opportunities to meet International media partners, enabling brand expansion globally. Attendees can engage with industry leaders and influencers through seminars and engaging workshop sessions.
  • Khamissa Art Festival – A vibrant co-created festival by artists for artists, art-lovers and the broader community. Explore the market where artists have the opportunity to sell or trade their unique products on their own terms, fostering a community and network of like-minded individuals. In addition the festival will host live arts tutoring and workshops which include hands-on sessions where artists take on the role of facilitators, sharing their skills and knowledge with attendees. On the 25th of April, 2026, at the Centre for Creative Education, Cape Town.
  • Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival – Fewer things bring more joy than sampling some of the finest grapes, paired with the tastiest treats, surrounded by a lovely group of friends. This year’s food festival is held at the Claremont Cricket Club, Constantia, in the beautiful Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. From the 25th until the 26th of April, 2026.
  • Comic Con Cape Town – Returning to the Mother City for its 4th epic edition, featuring legendary comic talent, comedy shows, thrilling game experiences, captivating films, food and beverages, and the newly added KidsCon. A wonderful family experience at the CTICC 2 between the 30th of April, and the 3rd of May, 2026.
