- Cape Town Carols by Candlelight at Kirstenbosch – From the 18th until the 21st of December 2025, the Mother City’s most-loved carols event returns this year to the picturesque Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens this December. - Cape2Rio – The iconic Cape2Rio yacht race will depart Cape Town on a 3,300-nautical mile journey to Rio de Janeiro. Spectators will be able to watch the start in Table Bay from various vantage points around the city, including Blouberg Beach, Granger Bay and even Lions Head. The South African sailors set off from the Royal Cape Yacht Club on the 27th of December, 2025.
