- Vincent – His Quest to love and be loved – The life and art of Vincent Van Gogh is presented by using reimagined versions of popular music theatre, rock and jazz. This award-winning production creates a picture of the troubled artist with a drive to create, and a deep desire to love and be loved. At the Artscape Theatre, Cape Town, from the 14th until the 17th of May 2025.
- Franschhoek Literary Festival – A cultural highlight of the Cape Winelands, bringing together local and international authors, publishers and bibliophiles. Indulging in long talks, readings and debates about all-things-literary. Franschhoek Village from the 16th until the 18th of May 2025.

- Cape Town Opera – Aida – An all-African cast in a bold, Africanfuturust reimagining of this iconic opera. Set against a backdrop of war, forbidden love and cultural conflict, Aida follows the love story of an enslaved Ethiopian princess and an Egyptian commander. At the Artscape Opera House from the 23rd until the 31st of May 2025.
- Nik Rabinowitz – Pension Killer – The esteemed South African stand-up comedian returns to the Baxter this autumn for the final-ever run of his smash-hit show. From the 27th until the 31st of May 2025.
