- The harbour at the V&A Waterfront becomes a stage for a daring spectacle of fun, flight and fearless creativity, as the Red Bull Flugtag sees homemade flying machines take flight (and plunge) into Cape Town’s urban-edge sea. On the 2nd of November, 2025.
- Starting from the 6th of November 2025, the venerable Cape Philharmonic Orchestra perform at our City Hall – from electric Rachmaninov to stirring Mahler – a reminder that our city’s heart beats to sophisticated rhythms.
- Franschhoek Open Gardens – From the 7th until the 9th of November 2025, explore the beautifully landscaped gardens – a total of 10 on display. In addition to the gardens, you can experience a delightful array of attractions including tea and scones, captivating talks, plants on sale, sparkling wine and a live cellist.
- Italy in Town returns to the Mother City’s streets on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2025. The two-day event is an unforgettable celebration bringing the magic of Italian culture to the heart of Cape Town.The cobblestone streets of De Waterkant will be transformed into an Italian piazza, alive with authentic cuisine, fine wines, music, entertainment, and family fun.
- Red Bull King of the Air – The ultimate battle in the world of kiteboarding is returning to Cape Town, bringing together the best kiteboarders on the planet, to showcase their skills in one of the most extreme competitions in the sport. From the 22nd of November at Kite Beach, Blouberg.
- Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts – Mi Casa – The season launches in style with South Africa’s chart-topping House trio. Expect smooth vocals, jazzy trumpet riffs and grooves that make you move. With Table Mountain glowing in the late afternoon sun, Kirstenbosch transforms into the city’s ultimate dance floor. On the 23rd of November 2025, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
- On the 29th of November 2025, wander through the vibrant labyrinth of the Streetopia festival in Observatory. Where street art, spontaneous dance, colour-splashed installations, music and the magic of the AfrikaBurn creative community spills out onto the streets Cape Town. Bringing together artists, non-profit organisations, residents and local businesses for a whole day of performances.
- As twilight deepens on the 30th of November 2025, join the city in the joy of the Festive Lights Switch On. Around Adderley Street and the Grand Parade, the Mother City will sparkle, heralding high-summer’s arrival and our collective gratitude for another luminous year.
