- Dance Intersect – A cross-cultural dance collaboration where you can witness a groundbreaking intersection of innovative dance theatre. Featuring international collaborations alongside South African. A truly inspiring spectacle at the Artscape Theatre from the 2nd until the 4th of September 2025.
- Loeries Creative Week – Definitely the largest gathering of its kind in the region, this event brings together the best in the creative industry, for a festival of networking, and a celebration and recognition of great work. Comprising of awards evenings, masterclasses, seminars and workshops, and several partner and agency events, there will be a number of experiences to dive into. From the 5th until the 10th of October 2025, at Cape Town City Hall and The Homecoming Centre.
- Ladysmith Black Mambazo Live in Concert – The legendary Grammy-winning group return to the stage with their powerful harmonies of traditional isicathamiya music. This concert is an inspiring cultural journey that connects the past with the present, celebrating old-time songs and rich cultural heritage of South African music. At the Artscape from the 10th until the 12th of October 2025.
- Sanlam Cape Town Marathon – One of the most scenic running routes in the world, the Cape Town Marathon invites experienced runners to take to the roads along the Atlantic Ocean. With breathtaking views of Table Mountain, passing iconic attractions and historic landmarks. It’s a fast-paced marathon that is best suited to elite athletes and social runners that have the experience of road running. A great event to cheer the runners on from the sidelines on the 18th and 19th of October 2025.
- Orpheus McAdoo – Back by popular demand, the South African musical returns to the Artscape on the 21st of October 2025, for one night only. A true story brought to life.
- Speed Classic Cape Town – An exhilarating two-day motor event, where the legends of yesterday meet the icons of tomorrow. Over 150 historical cars, racing cars and supercars compete, with Table Mountain as the backdrop. A unique occasion that promises a visceral, full-throttle showcase of motion, sound, and of course style. From the 25th until the 26th of October 2025, Philip Kgosana Drive, Cape Town.
- Bongeziwe Mabandla Solo Tour – This tour intentionally sees Bongeziwe perform alone, creating a deeply personal space, hosted in intimate, carefully chosen venues across South Africa. The show features songs from his past work, including amaXesha, alongside a first glimpse into what lies ahead. Audiences are invited to be part of this moment of transformation, experiencing Bongeziwe’s artistry in its most raw and unfolding form. On the 30th of October, 2025, at Drostdy Theatre, Stellenbosch.
