The way the sun’s rays have been behaving recently, it doesn’t feel like summer is in a rush to go anywhere. So whilst we still have the high temperatures, the late sunsets and the lovely embrace from a warm, gentle breeze, let’s get out and about in the Mother City, and dance a little more before the chill sets in.

- The annual Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts – It’s the last month to do some barefoot dancing on the green lawn, below the stage, beneath the mountain, every sunny Sunday evening – Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens.
- Cape Town Pride Mardi Gras 2024 – Saturday 2nd March – Green Point, Cape Town. Get your glad rags on and hit the streets in all of the vibrant shades of colour you can sport with pride!
- Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo and Cape Town Cycle Tour – 7-9 March, 10 March – It might be too late to start training for, or even sign-up for participation of the race, but always lots of fun to support from the sidelines.
- Mamma Mia! – From the 7th of March – Artscape Theatre. Here we go again. It’s more than a musical, it’s a feel-good experience that celebrates the magic of ABBA’s music.
- Cape Town Carnival – 16th March – Fanwalk, Cape Town. A fabulous free event that’s full of inspiring artwork, vibrant costumes and performances, music and culture.
- The Galileo: Peter Rabbit Special Easter Show – A Beatrix Potter masterpiece, as a live-action-3D computer-animated comedy. Some Easter Friday fun for the whole family.
