With the inevitable change in the seasons upon us, Cape Town puts on a splendid display of festivities, for us to go out and be active, savouring the last of the summer sun, embracing the blissful ambience of autumn.
Upcoming events to look forward to…
- Corona Sunsets Festival World Tour – An amazing line-up of world-renowned and local music artists performing on the sports fields beside the Atlantic Ocean. What a way to dance the day away. On the 6th April, from 12h00 until 23h00 at The Glen Country Club, Victoria Road, Camps Bay.
- International Luxury Travel Market Africa – An exclusive event that connects the finest in worldwide travel. At Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town from the 7th until the 9th of April 2024.
- Tannery Car Show – This is so much more than just a rev of the engines, and exposé of the great car collections in the Cape. You’ll come across some classics, some vintages, some sports cars and quirky outlaws in Wellington on the 7th April from 09h00 until 17h00.
- World Travel Market Africa 2024 – A top global event for the travel industry offering travel delegates the opportunity to connect and exhibit African travel markets. At the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from the 10th until the 12th April 2024.
- Two Oceans Marathon – Only for the brave! The Ultra Marathon (56km) on Saturday 13th April, the Half Marathon (21.1km) on Sunday 14th April and Fun Runs on Saturday 13th April.
- Finding the Light – The world of musical theatre arrives in Cape Town! From legendary productions like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and West Side Story, it’ll be a phenomenal sing-along. At the Artscape from the 17-21 April 2024.
- Tokara Rare Plant Fear & Open Garden – For all avid horticulturists, gardeners and botanists, and those that simply love a picnic surrounded by indigenous plants and signature sculptures, visit Tokara Wine Estate. The Stellenbosch wine farm is hosting an extraordinary event on their beautiful grounds beneath the mountains on the 20th April 2024 from 10h00 until 15h30.
- Comic Con Cape Town – Be inspired by world-renowned comic artists, content creators, urban artists and animators all gathering under the gigantic roof of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on the 27th April until the 1st May 2024.
- A reminder to all art lovers, and those that enjoy a gentle amble around the art corners of Cape Town, First Thursdays is a wonderful way to feel the city’s pulse. To witness the cafés, art galleries, bars and restaurants come to life with live street music and art. Every first Thursday of the month…Thursday April the 4th 2024.
